REGISTERING WITH US
We are so excited that you want to attend Camp Kids Place this summer! When registration goes live, spots are given on a first come first serve basis, and space tends to fill up very quickly! If you don't get a spot in the initial registration, another great way to get into a session at Camp is by putting your camper's name on our waitlists for as many weeks as you are interested in. The cost of each session this year is $350 per camper.
Waitlists will be available starting April 19th through our registration portal! Waitlists are a great way to get into a week of camp if you don't get in during a typical registration.
WANT TO CANCEL A WEEK?
Due to the highly competitive nature of spots at Camp Kids Place, each session of camp is non-refundable. As such, we ask that you carefully consider your summer schedule before registering with us and only register for weeks you know you will be able to attend.
OUR TYPICAL REFUND POLICY:
If you find yourself no longer needing a week of camp, you must submit a cancellation request through your account in our registration portal. If there IS someone on our waitlist for that week in your camper's age and gender group who is ready to take your child's spot, your request will be approved and you will be refunded the full amount you paid for that spot. If there is NOT someone on the waitlist to take your spot, you will only be granted your cancellation request if you can find someone to take your spot who has a child of the same age and gender as your camper. Once you have someone willing to take your child's spot, you must email our registration assistant at email@example.com and include your child's name and age, and the name and age and contact information of the child replacing yours. Once our registration assistant has confirmed your contact's desire to take your spot, we will remove your child from their space at camp, and, upon receiving payment from the family taking your spot, we will refund you the full registration amount. If neither of these scenarios are fulfilled, you will forfeit your registration fee.
NEW THIS YEAR:
There is, however, a new option for you this year via our registration partner CampDoc. At registration, you will have the option to purchase various levels of protection for each session you register your child for. Purchasing protection for your child's session will allow you to cancel your week or add medical protections for your child's session. This is a service offered by CampDoc and more information will be available in the registration portal, and can be found at www.campdoc.com.
If you have used CampDoc for other things such as school or other camp programs here are the steps to follow:
- Click our link.
- In the Email box, type your email address.
- In the Password box, type the password previously created.
- Click the LOG IN button.
- If you forget your password, type your email address and click the “Forgot Your Password” button.
For those of you who have never used CampDoc before here are the steps to follow:
- Click the SIGN UP button.
- In the Email box, type your email address in order to confirm.
- In the Password box, type the password that you want to use.
- Click the CONTINUE button.
- Follow the instructions, to create your profile and then log into your new profile using the above link Monday morning to register.
You will then need to select your desired session(s) and submit payment information. Required questions will be marked with an * and outlined in red. After registering for the sessions, you will be asked to upload our required health documents and input contact and further information to your CampDoc account. If you're on a phone/tablet, you can take a picture to upload the Virginia State Health Document (you will find a link to the template within your CampDoc account).
Keep in mind that you can return to app.campdoc.com at any time to make updates to your participant’s health information or make additional payments before your program begins. You can log in using the email address and password you previously created. We’re excited to let you know that your participant’s health information will save from year- to-year, so once you complete it in CampDoc this season, you won’t have to start from scratch next year.
Additionally, CampDoc sends out periodic reminder emails for outstanding balances and incomplete health profile information. These notifications come from campdoc.com, so please add this to your safe sender list to avoid accidental delivery to junk and spam folders.
